“Are you ever going to get bored of this?” He chuckled.
“Nope!” You threw your hand forward making it go completely through Mathews body. You pulled it back close to you, then you stuck your hand through him again. “Can you feel anything when I do this?” You asked.
“It feels like you’re poking me, but it doesn’t hurt.” You looked at him in amazement and continued. You decided to step it up and notch and completely walked through him.
“That was so cool!” You smiled excitedly and jumped through him again.
“What do you feel?” He asked curiously.
“It’s feels like a blast of air! Like when you open a freezer really fast.” He hummed in response and sat down. “Sorry I don’t mean to annoy you. I’ve just never met a ghost before.” You flopped down on the couch next to him.
“It’s alright. I’m just happy you can see me.” He turned and looked at you with a happy smile but his eyes were sad.
“Can’t everyone see you?” You turned so you were facing him more. He shook his head and chuckled dryly.
“No, infact you are the only person who has ever seen me.” Your heart ached a little in your chest at his confession.
“I’m sorry Mathew. But I promise you will never ever be lonely again!”
