i see you take pics with a lot of older digital cameras, do you think you could tell me a little (or a lot) about why you use those cameras? do you have a favorite?

i decided to pick up a few digital cameras at the flea market i frequent once in a while. a few worked. It kind of sparked an obsession in me that calmed into a genuine interest.

i tag what cameras i use because i like cataloging things and i saw others had done similar. i don't know if i have a favorite yet! i've only been doing it 5-6 months so mostly whatever has been in my hands has been my favorite. there are a few i've instantly fallen in love with and others that really didn't impress me. maybe by the end of this year i'll be able to really choose!

i really like the feel of the older cameras. i've been less drawn to newer ones that i've gotten my hands on. i keep seeing people claim that people are obsessed with old digital cameras "because of tiktok". i have no idea. that seems weird. i don't understand tiktok.

thank you for liking them! I've always liked taking pictures and i've probably never had a better time doing it til now.

what kind of music do you like?

The genre I listen to most is probably 80s new wave but my music folder is oretty eclectic. It has everything from jazz to 100 gecs to soviet experimental music to tmbg

Beta circled back around Raylan. It was getting hard to see with all the alerts clogging their vision, but they had a general sense of where everything was still. “It has been in the room with us the entire time. It will burn your hands if you hold it.” Instead, they picked it up themselves and backed far away from Raylan. A damage alert appeared on the left of their visual field, but they pushed it aside.

“We only have a few minutes. You are going to experience difficulty breathing soon.”

Raylan stopped abruptly when Beta circled around him. Both eyebrows raised in surprise as he side-glanced at them picking up the metal rod. “...Like it’s burnin’ yours,” he retorted sarcastically. He wasn’t going to fight them on this; there was no time for that now. Maybe later. Instead, the corporate lawman jerked his chin up towards the nearest window in expectation.

“Best y’ get busy smashin’ like hell then. Or else I will.”

((Ah, so Beta does know that it’s different with insomniacs. But at first, not knowing that Raylan is an insomniac, would Beta suggest he enter sleep mode? Raylan wouldn’t tell them right away about his condition.))
