Canary through the years
In her court days her duchess thought she had a lot of potential as a pretty lure, rather than an active member like she wanted to be. Started trying to coax her growth into a form closer to her namesake, which she fought against in small ways that she could until she fled. Anyone could notice how she'd perk up at the mention of any mission, but wilt once her role of passivity is made clear. She secretly helped a handful of sapling captives make a run for it over the years before fleeing herself. Un-enriched pet behavior, kept messing up her duchess' court in trivial ways.
Her early years in the aetherblades were spent trying hard to distance herself from that image while refusing to give up her name just because the Court tried to sour it for her, which is why her ensemble palette changed so greatly. And to try and lessen the chances of immediate recognition, though her foliage color does make that near-impossible. She's shifted fully into a team fighter by the time lws1 rolled around and she's very proficient and leads one of the aetherblade fleet ships by the time of EoD, under the captainship of Mai Trin. She staunchy opposed Ankkas mutiny which resulted in being thrown out and left to face the effects of Zhaitans magic with the rest of the lab workers and any others too loyal to Mai Trin.
She melds the two color palettes when she eventually becomes Aetherblade Captain after Ankka, taking care of what's left of her found pirate family and helping the fleet get back on their feet with pirating once more. Her colors also get a lot richer in general due to her vainly overcompensating for her actual appearance under her glamour she has to wear now, ever since the reactor incident.
