The Rich Little Show (1975)
Jesus of Montreal (1989). A group of actors put on an unorthodox, but acclaimed Passion Play which incites the opposition of the Catholic Church while the actors' lives themselves begin to mirror the Passion itself.
The meeting point of religious allegory and method acting that I'm just not really sure that we needed? This is a pretty interesting little film, and I do appreciate that it tries to do something different by exploring not just religion in a modern context, but the way we make and consume art. There are some pretty good performances, and some nice set-ups, but it also just kind of feels like the most late-80s film of all time. It's an odd one! 6/10.
Candian: A xenic alignment to candy.
i made flags for all of the xenic alignments for this post based on this equusarian flag so they’re all a matching set!
the colors in this flag are common candy colors.

“All The Time” by ROMES & Haiva Ru
Toronto duo ROMES teamed up with Santa Barbara singer Haiva Ru to create an endless summer in their 2020 release “All The Time.”
“All The Time” follows the trio as they find themselves getting into a carefree state of mind after a break-up. “By the pool, some sunny afternoon / I’m not thinkin’ bout you” Haiva Ru sings as she paints the ideal picture of moving on before ROMES joins in the chorus and they relish in the feeling as they sing “I wanna feel like this all the time / Peachy with a little bit of lime.” A euphoric production with dazzling 80’s inspired synths and a relaxing chill wave bliss creates a summer vibe no matter what the calendar says.
While created during the previous year’s lockdowns the artists revealed they wanted to make “a a shimmering, summer nostalgia, feel-good vibe to counter the strange, melancholic times we’re all going through.”
Did they accomplish that? Find out by checking “All The Time.”
A Letter Sent This Evening
To the Honorable Joe Ceci,
I am writing as a lifelong resident of Alberta who cares deeply about this province, regarding the response of the Provincial Government to the epidemic. Early in the epidemic, there were many questions as to the most effective means that our Governmental officials could take in regard to preventing the spread of the virus and executing its duty of care to the people of Alberta.
However, time has passed, and clear data has shown that, in jurisdictions with strong and stringent controls and tracking, there has been greater success in controlling the infection rate, while those jurisdictions who weaken these restrictions see a rebound in infection. This information is widely available from journalistic, scientific and medical sources. Despite this, and over recommendations of health officials, the Government of Alberta proceeded over the months of February and March 2021 to roll back the modest restrictions in place, even in light of the massive increase in confirmed cases and deaths. Given that this information has been available for some time and officials, this has shown that Premier Jason Kenny and Minister of Health Alberta, Jason Shandro, have not only neglected their fundamental duty to govern, they have actively promoted policy and public actions that have led to preventable deaths. These preventable deaths are the result of base misfeasance. I believe the failure of the Premier to communicate, even to his staff and fellow members of caucus, the importance of travel restrictions during the holiday season goes further, possibly showing a wanton or reckless disregard for the public health in the creation of a culture that feels safe flouting public health orders.
I have contacted multiple barristers about this matter and will be following up with them regarding your response.
I can be reached between the hours of 9 to 5, at [Redacted]. CC:Her Honour the Honourable Salma Lakhani Lieutenant Governor of Alber1t1
Honorable Leader of the Opposition, Ms. Rachel Notley, M.L.A. Mr. David Shepard, M.L.A.
I keep reading Canadian as Candian.
Congratulations, Brennan. You broke me. You broke my brain.
