OPEN RP: A Runaway! Callooh! Callay!

A new shipment of prisoners had just arrived, but with one extra, a stowaway. Today he was a blue striped cheshire cat, tomorrow who knows? The cat looks down from the ceiling, only his head peeking down. What a curious sight, all of these new friends to meet!

A wide grin spreads across his face as he looks down at the pumpkin king. If it wasn't for him, Shire would never have found this interesting place! The cat pulls himself back up into the ceiling, disappearing for now. I'll talk to him later, he's busy being official and boring. Shire had no patience for speeches, after all.

The cat reappeared climbing out of a flower vase in one of the main hallways, appearing at a split in the hall. Oh how he loved places like this! Filled with choices, which means opportunities for games for the cat.

"Neeyooowww.. Just who might show? Perhaps they'll ask me where to go~!"

The library contained all manner of books, scrolls, folios, tablets on many materials. Velum and papyrus, paper and stone, copper plate and silk screen. It had pillows for lounging, a sunken bath for oiling, ink for writing, and brushes for preening.

What it didn't have was conversation. The house mice and bookworms did not make for good company. Besides, this castle was large and occupied. Perhaps Veli might find someone else around to talk to. He slithered along the hallways, under and over furniture, along walls and ceilings, past doors and passages. Surely there was someone else here...
