This marvelous fellow hopped on home with me yesterday. He was made in Germany by an old company named Marolin. The founder perfected his own formula for papier-mâché in the mid-20th-century and they made fabulous Christmas and Easter candy containers, nativities, etc. Sadly, after the war when the East Germans took, over the company was shuttered by the government. But once the wall came down, the family resurrected the business and still uses the original molds and papier-mâché formula today. My friend Jill Pillow who owns @oldworldaccents in Carytown has a lovely selection for Easter if you want to hop on down there and choose one for yourself! 🐰🌷... . . .#easter #easterbunny #candycontainer #papiermâché #rabbit #marolin #german #reproduction #handpainted #handmade (at Old World Accents & Oldworldaccents.net)
