So I went to CANFUND's Gold, Silver, Bronze reception last night and met olympians like some of my inspirations from the Canadian Women's Hockey team: Meghan Agosta-Marciano, Natalie Spooner, Tara Watchorn and freakin' Jayna Hefford, and others such as Dara Howell, Kaillie Humphries, Heather Moyse, and Jan Hudec....

I'm not really sure how to even put how fortunate I am for the opportunities I have been given in my life but specifically in these past few months into words. To have had the chance to meet so many of my heroes from the Canadian Women's Hockey team is something I wish everyone could do and all of these athletes deserve the recognition they receive. They dedicate their lives to excel at their sport and their passion in order to proudly represent our country and I probably speak on behalf of everyone when I say that they do an incredible job!
