too bad

I just turned 18 and I'm graduating high school in 2 weeks. I need to find a job so I can make some money and have a reason to leave the house. I can't work for a lot of hours or too many days a week because I fear that would be too exhausting for me. I don't think I can work retail because talking to strangers is difficult and I can easily go nonverbal. Do you have advice for what I should look for? My mom suggested I work in translating since I'm pretty fluent in english.

Translation could definitely be a good idea as it would mostly be working on your own and you could set your own ours. Online language teaching would also work well, or proofreading (if you want to build some experience for this I think Project Gutenberg is looking for voluntary proof-readers)
