Hope you don’t mind me sharing a little trailer for a travel video I directed in Tokyo.
“Missing Morning Views Like This…” — One of the beautiful rays of sun from an early morning trek at Edinburgh to Arthur’s Seat, where dark clouds roam and just a few peeks of sunlight lighting up the scenic plains below. . . . .#robertchai #roberryarts #roberryartsstudios #roberryartstakingabreak #edinburgh #scotland #explorescotland #worktravel #arthurseat #canon #canonsingapore #canonuk #canon5dmiii #igsg #sgig #iguk #instasg #instauk #dramaticweather #followmytravels (at Arthur's Seat)
“Sunsets in the skies are just holy-majestic!” — Still missing that sunset flight from Singapore to Jakarta.. Such an EPIC sunset amongst the clouds.. ;) . . . .#robertchai #roberryarts #roberryartsstudios #roberryartstakingabreak #worktravel #goingglobal #singapore #jakarta #exploreindonesian #canon #canonsingapore #canonindonesia #canonasia #canon5dmiii #followmytravels #igsg #sgig #igid #instasg #instaid #instagood #eveningflight #extremeweather #beautifulskies #soekarnohatta

It’s a humbling experience to be consistently reminded of the purpose behind what you do. What I love about digital photography is the instantaneous access to memories! As I photographed the Perry family it made me think about how my family would have been if we’d ever had the opportunity to take family photos. And it reminded me of the why behind the lens. I thought about the memories we would have curated and the wild outfits my mom would have put us in (I grew up in the early 90s and any trends then I’m sure would translate to my own children as colorfully horrendous) I’m truly thankful that the Perry family opened up to me and allowed me in to capture their true personalities! Xavier, the dad posed for his album cover, the girls goofed around and Amber tried to reel them in as a good momma does! #perrysVsEveryone
