First batch of paintings of my Iceland watercolour painting journal! Plus a slide showing my materials (except for the washi tape, which I ran out of). I had such a nice time painting on buses, airplanes, in pubs and at our hostel/hotels. During the process I had several amazing convos with people, who wanted to know about our travels, and my process 🥰 In total I made 37 paintings for Iceland! I'm still creating them for my short visit in Ireland, but thus far I have 7.
I am ALWAYS going to paint my photos now whenever I travel - not only did it encourage me to take better photos, but drawing from them, on paper with actual paints, made me engage with my trip in a much deeper way ❤️
Also, I will be posting some of my best photos on my @geomagics blog eventually!
