Merely seeing the word wawa is enough to trigger a shift in me, which sucks because I had to hold back the urge to make slugcat noises at a Wawa convenience store because I was in the car with my mom and grandparents and it was literally SO HARD FOR NO REASON KIN GODS WHY

Anyways, in honor of this I would like to propose an ask game I've affectionately titled

canonveniences: used to having VERY long hair and now have very short hair….always use too much soap in the shower now. also i still get shimmer cravings every once in a while which sucks because i can’t exactly do intravenous drugs now. yippee —jinx arcane

okay so funny thing during my time people used to use heater to refer to guns so every time someone says something like "oh no we'll be fine with the cold my mom has a heater" I look at them weird and think "kinda spooky to mention but what does a gun have to do with the cold 😭" before I remind myself "no one uses that word for that anymore, boomer"

also every time my house makes a weird noise I panic and run away like "NOT AGAIN" even though I'm not gonna get fucking crushed and break my spine again because my dryer has a shoelace stuck in it

Hope I'm not too late for the Canonvenience ask game:

It really sucked to be ball-shaped.

You'd think a robot made specifically to do tangible repairs and maintenance, would be designed somewhat human-shaped or have permanent limbs, at least, but no. Not an idea that occured to the brilliant minds at Aperture Science.

It took until they had to repurpose Her old or failed cores before we even got management rail shortcuts.

For canonveniences:

I often exist in such a weird space, being from marvel comics. The most popular iteration of me is the one I connect to the least. Sure, X-Men: Apocalypse is a fun movie, but truly that is not me that I see on screen. I don’t relate to any of the movies or any of the cartoons.

It’s much more difficult to find comic sourcemates since it’s a medium that requires a lot more investment to power through. There’s 60+ years of a backlog to work through! While it means I do get a lot of content, I also have a lot of memories that many people won’t understand the context for. Like, sure, I’m an X-Man, but I knew the Fantastic Four and the Avengers and Spider-Man and so on. And it’s difficult to find others that also had that experience with the increasing popularity of the new cartoon.

(Much love to anyone who is from the movies or cartoons though, this is just a personal rant. Y’all keep on being amazing!)
