Three things that made today terrible: A text from my mom asking for something that I probably can’t do... just trying to live my own life over here... Stomachaches from nerves  :( My basically-best friend got in a car accident two hours ago.  And of course my brain reminded me that my ex-girlfriend was in a wreck about this time last year... cue more PTSD associations... Three things that made today amazing: Still killing it at dramaturgy.  Yesterday my voiceover work for an educational video almost brought my mentor to tears. My job interview today went great, and I’m not fully aware of just how great a company they are.  I’m going back for their standard second interview on Tuesday! The song “Jelly Man Kelly”.  It now ranks as the top song for which my fondness of it is directly inverse to my comprehension of the lyrics. Lesson of the day: Having a new song or poem idea to repeat obsessively in your head can do wonders when you need to float gently above really big, painful emotions.
