☂ YOUR MUSE SHIELDING MY MUSE FROM RAIN (stranger muses would do this right? Lol)
“I thought it was April showers and then May flowers?” Zoe wondered out loud, staring up at the dark and cloudy sky, a giant crack of lightening followed by a booming clap of thunder. “It’s May second and so far, all I’ve seen is clouds.”
The blonde couldn’t really complain, however. Despite most people assuming the contrary, sunshine had never really been Zoe’s cup of tea. Sometimes it was nice and warranted, but most of the time, the defense attorney preferred her weather dark and damp.
People on the sidewalk rushed by her, clutching their umbrellas tightly in their fists as the gusting wind threatened to rip them from grasp. Zoe had, fortunately or unfortunately depending how you looked at it, witnessed as that very event took place in the parking lot a few yards away from her. Immediately, Zoe rushed over, ready to lend a helping hand in whatever way that she could.
“Hold on, hold on!” Zoe shouted, approaching the person and standing over them, the rain that had once been pelting the back of their coat now rolling down the top of Zoe’s umbrella. She looked down at the stranger, a genuine, if not slightly sympathetic smile plastered across her face.
“Is this one of those meet cute things I’ve heard about in the movies?” she questioned with a laugh. “Which one of us is meant to do the ‘sweeping off the feet’ thing?”
