Bye Bye 60D
So I am in the process of buying a new camera. I have had my 60D for 15 months now. I have not shot photos for about 4 years i used to have a canon 450D. Before last Christmas I shot photos, well a few on and off but not really. I got back in to cameras because i saw my brothers 7D and the video he could make on it was unreal. I couldn't believe the quality you could get from the camera. So i jumped in and got the 60D and a sigma 30mm and a sigma 10mm fisheye. Over the last 15 months I have filmed a few short videos but nothing great, a few skate trips documented. But over the months I have been taking more and more photos and really starting to fall back in love with photography.
So now i am shooting more my needs have changed and I am finding it harder to get all my kit out with me. Its big bulky and heavy, and its not just because it big and heavy I am trying to shot photos of friends and street photography and my huge DSLR and flash gun are very obvious and people get nervous around it, and its hard to just pull out for at a meal or friends houses or parties. I am a starting to crave a small yet capable camera. So...................(Get to the point)
in step the Olympus OM-D E-M5

Mine arrives next week and I really hope it lives up to the hype. I read a lot about cameras online and from what I am reading this is really going to do everything I now feel i need in a camera. Its small, light and powerful. The range of lenses for the micro four thirds looks sick. My needs are changing and so it my camera. I will let you know over the next few weeks how I get along and of course you will see the photos on my Tumblr. If its as good as people make out my 60D and lenses will be on eBay in two weeks.
bye for now.
