things to love about chilling adventures of Sabrina;
Hilda
Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina was cancelled only so we could have Chilling Adventures Of Samantha, I mean.. it's our there, they can't take it back now
What do y’all think about this? It’s just a theory
Who the writers cared a lot about this season:
Nick. Sabrina. Caliban. Zelda.
Who the writers took a shit on this season:
Lilith. Mary. Hilda. Roz. The Coven. Virgins.
Characters’ storylines I was actually satisfied with:
Zelda. Mambo. Ambrose. Prudence. Theo. Blackwood.
Characters’ storylines that make me wanna cut a bitch:
Lilith. Mary. Hilda. Sabrina. The coven.
Thing I couldn’t care less about:
Harvey vs Nick.
WTF?
Peoples’ obsession with virginity status. The amount of times they said ‘seed’. Sabrina and Roz getting center stage in the cheer out of nowhere. Singing cheerleaders. Mary with a gun. Sabrina knowing that for an eternity all Lilith wanted was to be queen and the second it got challenged Sabrina stabbed her in the back to take it from her. Zelda refusing Lilith refuge. Sabrina only checking in on Mary for personal benefit and not even trying to help her with her trauma. Lilith and Blackwood - ew! Mary repeatedly being reduced to a virgin. Lilith being reduced to being called a concubine and a whore. Teasing us with Mary trying to address her trauma, and cutting away before anything happens.
Question:
How did Caliban get Satan and Lilith into the rocks? How did they get out at the end?
Okay so is Lilith considered a demon or a a witch or both? A witch's pregnancy is 13 months right? So how long is a demons
I have many thoughts about the CAOS filming schedule that I'm sure I'll torture myself with until part 4 is released whenever.
I absolutely adored Mom Zelda and Leticia
The peekaboo scene it’s just too cute
im not good at like. intricately detailing my thoughts or conveying them in a way that may sound coherent, unfortunately. but, i do have something to talk about here that has been sitting in the corner of my mind for quite a while now.
first of all, there would be the need to showcase two different versions of this concept given from where you take origin of such wings.
the first one would be from the more strict and realistic perspective regarding her character building and structure. taking references from actual and still-living theories and stories of the goddess lilith, in which many tell of a creature who may pursue the form of an anthropomorfic type of bird - more specifically, from what i have found so far to be mostly depictions of owls and such nocturnal animals.
(and other animals with wings/feathers, or capable of having the bone structure close to those who have developed wings and similar body parts)
this verison would suggest inheritance from within her very own formation, wings that were acquired since the beggining of her existence - not being an additional factor caused by some external and deliberate (willing or non-willing) change. such to be attained only through birth and creation, by its original design.
these would be depicted as normal wings, only changed proportionally to fit the woman's chosen body (as well as her primary form), complete with feathers and no flaws but the ones she has made to them herself.
(just as many depictions come to be of her referenced identity in real-life mythology)
the second would be the developmental concept based sollemnly on what the tv series' and even comics'story provides and additional theories taken from more other ficional narratives that involve such beings as demons and other-worldly creatures, being them divine or not.
this would now come to be an external change, contrary to what was presented on the other version - not coming to be inherent within her genes, and therefore from an outside source. such wings would be attained through the consuming of another's essence, blood as also molecular structure, making it so any elements and physical characteristics from the being she has consumed to be passed on to her very own form - albeit in a quite flawed way, as no being can become a true copy of another with an already pre-existing and well developed structure of their own (whether that be the one she currently inhabits such as mary's body or her original one). modifying her own structure both inside and out - whether there is any willingness from the one who is about to attain such traits, as they come to be "activated" whether the person wants such changes or not.
now, this is what i came to call the "parasitic" version to this concept, as the wings do not come to be from her own creation but by being simply taken from someone else's, thus making them a lot more of a modified and a cumination of both obscure and flawed development (incorrect/incomplete generation, i mean). these wings were twistedly/gruesomely originated from the merging of very distinct essences and now becomes only a shadow of what could have been their original plans. having few to no feathers at all, its strucure twisted and unsuited for its actual purposes, serving as only an additional limb that barely seems to coherently respond to its own nerves. cartilage occupies most of the space that should have come to house its feathers and mass, now too heavy and therefore useless.
it's a parasitic version because it shifts every single portion of her structure, it builds itself from nothing and with no hesitation manages to change every single point in which it chooses to grow (creating a new additional bone struture, extra tissue that from such tormenting shifting has accumulated at its roots like doubling scars building up at every twist and turning of flesh, with no purpose to be added in the aid of its "host" and serves to nothing but the circulation of blood, from within a structure that has yet again been only created for its benefit of continuos long-term survival)
and that's pratically all i have until now :") i surely do have sketches from my sketchbook and others scattered across school notebookes that i plan on passing to my laptop and posting here, but until then i think that this is all the information i could come up with lol
god i feel awful for making up something like this ;; but it became a concept i just couldnt let go of, and it has been laying around ever since the start of the year tbh
the whole parasitic version came much recently ngl but the whole idea was already in development for quite some time.
but, in one way or another, this is no excuse so please let me know if this came to be quite too graphic or just. bad
idk if you watched all of it or the final part yet but what do you think went on with the ted structure in chilling adventures of sabrina?
I don’t want to watch part four and, if I’m honest, around s2 I started regularly skipping scenes that didn’t interest me. I don’t feel like I’m attuned enough with the show to be 100% sure about what drives it.
My best guess would be Lucifer-Sabrina as a twisted father-daughter structure, with her love interests in the suitor’s role; Lucifer seems to be the male character with the most narrative control over others, for one. I think in past seasons it left room for other characters like Zelda, Prudence or Lilith to have their shining moments, but I get the impression that’s not the case this one.
But like I said, I’m not all that sure about this and I’d welcome input.
