why, you’re right! that IS a 10k P.R. ! and since this is the third time i’ve run this race, it’s a P.R. for the race, too.

the weather was definitely on our side this morning. april in texas is a fickle thing; it was 85 degrees out this week, but 45 degrees and overcast when i finished the race.

and now i’m off to shower off my muck and pack for my work trip to india tomorrow. i was hoping i could fun-run a race while i’m there, but the only one i found was already full. i’m also told that april is the hottest month there, and the pollution is a little rough; so i might stick to treadmill running for the next week. we’ll see. either way, this was a great way to round off my week before heading off to something entirely different.
