We had the pleasure to make it to Cape Forchu in Yarmouth for sunset. It was the inspiration and ultimate goal of last week's lighthouse road trip. We were delayed as weather did not cooperate on the first day which resulted this being one of the first to photograph vs the last as planned. We drove a solid 3 1/2 hours to kick off the photo trip, and it did not disappoint. Once we arrived, I set out to find the best viewing angle with the least amount of distracting elements. There was a lot of people, random antennas, benches, etc, but quickly found my spot. I dialed in the settings and waited for good light. Lisa scoped out the other side and found more spots for a future visit. It was tough committing to one spot but I'd rather have one photo I am happy with vs 10 ok photos. This is as long exposure of 2 minutes to which I had to find ways to block the strong wind. The slightest breeze is enough to ruin a long exposure as it needs to stay perfectly still.
