Just the Moon over the Cape... During the day... Captured with @fujifilmxseriesnz #XT20 with RAW files processed in Adobe Lightroom. This is a composite image consisting of a shot for the land/sea and a separate shot/exposure of the moon to retain it's detail. I thought I'd revisit some shots I took last year when Mike Gannaway and I took an early morning stroll to the Cape along the beach from Clifton. Here we've got an Australasian Gannet having an early morning wing stretch. For anyone who's not been up close to these magnificent birds, their wingspan can reach around 1.5m tip-to-tip, with an equally impressive body size of around 95cm.
