July 10th is Capybara Appreciation Day, also known as Caplin Day. This photo of him shows why he needs a special day.

Today is Caplin Day! I guess you're probably tired of hearing about it by now, but it is a very special day for me. Hope y'all are eating yogurt popsicles right now!

This is Caplin Rous in his 2009 St. Patrick's Day costume. It wasn't easy getting that hat to balance on his head! Remember, Caplin Day is July 10th. Eat a popsicle or yogurt to celebrate.
Caplin Day is coming up on July 10th. Don't forget to eat popsicles and/or yogurt and/or frozen yogurt to celebrate his birthday.
We are celebrating Caplin Day (July 10th) this year with a pet/plushy costume contest on the Capybara Madness blog. This makes sense because Caplin Rous could really wear a costume, as shown by this example of him in a getup for St. Patrick's Day in 2010.
