A filler episode doesn't mean a useless episode. I think all the episodes are awesome, but you can skip around and still know what's going on (I don't recommend it, but you could). I accidentally skipped a dvd while watching S and didn't realize until months later lol. I love the fillers because, as you said, they have their own importance and they really make you connect to the characters!

Yeah, I agree! Some fillers do feel kinda useless but for the most part they're great. At the very least they're entertaining! Also, without filler, I doubt we'd get nearly the same feel for the characters that we have with filler. As much as I LOVE the manga, the characterization is a bit lacking if your name isn't Usagi or Chibiusa. That's because the manga is much more plot-oriented and things go by so quickly you barely ever get to see the girls just hanging out.

(This is in no way hate to you or the SM fandom.) I had a SM blog and I deleted it because I felt excluded. None of the blogs were ever mean to me, but I found as I kept trying to befriend blogs that our relationship probably wouldn't go past them just being polite to me. The thing that made me delete my blog was (and this is so dumb I know) was that a girl who I was sure I had befriended unfollowed me. The SM fandom is a nice fandom, I hardly saw rude people on my dash. But it is exclusive.

(This isn't aimed at you but rather the notion of exclusiveness I've said this before and I'll say it again. I have 3,500+ followers. I get lots of messages on a daily basis. I feel rude for saying this, but I'm probably not going to go out of my way to continue a relationship that hasn't consisted of more than a few messages back and forth because I have a lot on my plate.

However, I have LOTS of friends and people I'm friendly with because I genuinely want to befriend all those who'll take me. I've tried my damnest to make myself seem approachable (which I HOPE I succeeded in, seeing as you were comfortable enough to send me this message ;D) and not exclusive.

Honestly, we all have our own lives and things to be stressed about. We might be more preoccupied with that upcoming midterm or a pending promotion than we are about a potential friendship. I think we ALL just need to remember we're ALL people, we all have our own lives and joys and worries.
