CAP Prize – International Prize for Contemporary African Photography

Jason Florio has won a the CAP Prize (Contemporary African Photography) for his project ‘The Gambia - Victims & Resisters’. His portraits shed a light on the victims of torture, sexual violence, and the families of loved ones who were assassinated for resisting former president Yahya Jamme’s 22 year regime in The Gambia.
