Some of the rejected sketches for the Captive Prince Anthology illustration. I’m very fond of the sketches with Auguste, but he does look like Elsa.
They’re not WIPs for the illustration, they’re more like tests for colours and textures. But I’m enjoying getting started on the Captive Prince Anthology illustration
Please keep an eye on the project - there’s so much talent working on it (I’m very exited to see it finished)
“Why?” Laurent asks quietly, the word itself an admission.
Because Damen is selfish, selfish beyond means, and he wants so badly - to feel the cold air against his skin, to know another’s warmth beneath his touch, to be alive again - but there is also this: “Because you deserve it.” Damen doesn’t realize how much he means it until he says it out loud, but it’s there and it’s true, and the thought of Auguste lost to the darkness, claimed by Death, is - “Because Auguste deserves to be found.”
Laurent considers; Damen lets him.
The moment stretches.
Then, Laurent produces a spool of thread that seems to glow all on its own, and holds it out for Damen to see.
It’s been an honour to work illustrating Cin’s story (Link through for Author)
My Capri-Anthology piece is at a stage where I can test out the colours that I want.
Now that I’m at this stage I’m really getting exited to see it fully printed haha!
@capri-anthology I got my copy of The Captive Prince Anthology yesterday and it is so gorgeous!! 😍
I’m sorry, Jord.
Here is my piece for the @capri-anthology! It accompanies @desastrista’s beautiful fic about Jord and Aimeric, which you can read right here!
