ciao ! the summer is slowly settling in and we know how busy june tends to be, especially for those who are wrapping up their academic year and work commitments, as well as plenty of other responsibilities you have in your private life, we're making slight changes when it comes to activity checks for rest of the month.
the entire premise of capritown was to create a place that feels like a hobby where you can unwind, rather than another pressure stacked on the top of every day life. instead of traditional activity checks, we will implement weekly interest checks that will take place every saturday. we want to continue creating a relaxed environment and let everyone write at their own pace during one of the busiest months of the year and most importantly, enjoy it.
interest checks will be very simple - we will be creating a post on the main and once you interact with it, we will know that you are still interested in remaining in the group. additionally, this will apply to everyone, including newly accepted members, therefore taking the pressure off posting an intro within specific time period.
we will make an announcement when the activity checks will be back to its usual, but for now, please enjoy writing in your own time and thank you for helping build capri into what it is today 💛

anonymous dares are officially in circulation and making their way to everyone around lido bellanotte. they are harmless, some of them might be dangerous or make you go skinny dipping with a complete stranger, but all of them are going to make your night a little more interesting. crushes might get exposed, tension might get created and people might share things they absolutely weren’t planning on sharing tonight, so … good luck, you’re going to need it.
and as a reminder, blame your mystery dare distributor, not us. maybe it will result in a lifelong friendship or a heartbreak, you never know !

𖥻 activityreminders , a quick reminder of our activity rules to ensure you get to stay off checks !
activity counts as posting at least 2 in character replies per muse to 2 different muns within the past seven days. our activity checks are held on saturday, followed by an unfollow on sunday.
upon acceptance, you have 24 hours to send in your account. after a follow link to your blog has been published, you have an additional 24 hours to post your introduction post, then 48 hours to begin interactions - if due to any reason you might need more time, you can send a message to the main.
third characters can only be picked up after a week of constant activity and must be bipoc or 35+ if none of your previous muses are. fourth characters can be picked up after the admins see consistent activity by the mun, usually around 5-7 days after your third character. you cannot apply for a third muse if you've been placed on the last two activity checks.

lido bellanotte celebrates the opening of tourist season by inviting everyone to beach bonfire party,
as the sun disappears beneath the horizon, locals and visitors gather along the sands of lido bellanotte for a night of music, bonfires and drinks. to encourage mingling, attendees will receive anonymous dares or challenges throughout the evening. so, whether you're sharing a blanket with a stranger or getting talked into a midnight swim, everyone is bound to leave with a story.
the rules are simple:

if somebody asks you to go swimming, just say yes !
come alone, bring your friends or bring your ex if you enjoy making poor choices. see you by the fire !

out of character, the event will last for two weeks, starting monday june 1st @ 8pm cet / 11am pst / 2pm est until june 15th @ 6am cet / 9pm pst / 12am est !
in character, the beach bonfire party will take place in the span of one night, june 6th @ 9pm at the lido bellanotte beach club. no dress code, just simply wear your best party clothes.

mid event ( after the first week ), we will use a random generator to pair muses to participate in the game of dares, giving a light thread prompts to ensure a diversity in threads, give muns a chance to develop different connections and make sure everyone is inclued in conversations ! the prompts will be up to muns decision if they are something that you would like to plot out further or not.
