all of these are current regulations fault tbh. we're not celebrating drivers' talent anymore. and we don't have extraordinary racing. we don't even see real overtakes anymore. it's just grand prix after grand prix where some shit just happens like mechanical failure or penalties. and they try to make you believe that it's what formula 1 is about

as a max fan you just have to make peace with the fact that he will never be given grace the same way other drivers get it all. the. time. and just live with it

the thing is, ppl like to talk about setting boundaries and not letting anyone disrespect you, until it actually comes down to taking action. sometimes you see that some celebrities are being way too gracious to their fans or the journos, and ppl leave comments and write posts saying that smb "should give them a gun". but the same ppl would also drag them through the mud, if the said celebrity actually took the gun themselves and deliberately shot someone clean through the arm as a warning

just saw "max was LUCKY enough for 4 wdc" sentence with my own two eyes, i guess, the caliber of max's talent really makes everything he has achieved look as "easy" and "luck"

ik that for outsiders our bitching and moaning sound just like typical frustration over our fav not being in a fast car but i'm being honest with you rn. this racing just doesn't make me excited. and i firmly believe that actually none of the drivers can show their true potential in these cars. it's a SHAME. and it's everything that FORMULA 1 doesn't STAND FOR.
