Oh it sounds great, from what I understand the soundtrack was remastered using the raw audio pulled directly from arcade sound boards. It’s available digitally here on bandcamp. I got the Streets of Rage 2 soundtrack too, and the first one. The only vinyl release from Datadiscs I don’t have is the Super Hang-On soundtrack. Love what they’re doing with those though, great packaging too.. they even have the OBI strips haha

homie i betta see grind date on that next list aha, you but why did you pick Take Me to Your Leader as your #1? Just curious!

We’ll see man! i haven’t started putting them in order yet but as of right now there are over 70 albums in the “rough draft” version of the list. That’s going to be fun. As for why I picked Take Me To Your Leader, the top three albums on that list are pretty much interchangeable but that’s the one I ended up going with. It’s such a ridiculous and unique concept but I feel like DOOM’s “vision” holds together extremely well. The album just has so much character. Some of my favorite DOOM beats ever appear on there, i love the samples/skits, and even though DOOM doesn’t rap on it much the features stop it from ever becoming monotonous. Plus i’m just I’m a sucker for concept albums in general. Overall It’s my second favorite DOOM project, the first being The Mouse and the Mask. I went into a bit more detail about how I feel about the album here.
