so at some point i stumbled upon the idea of captain amakna’s shield being magical (since we dont know that much about him and there have been like 3 different CAs so far) this is based on the theory that one has to be ‘worthy’ of the powers it gives in order to become captain amakna (they probably get a magical transformation sequence as well cause MHMMyesyes).
sylargh thought the shield was broken for a very long time cause it never did grant him any powers but hiroze becomes captain amakna instantly the moment she lays her hands on it
its in her name after all, shes the true hero of the frigost!
(and by frigost i mean amakna of course)

the only reason he ever got to write that was, because captain amakna wrote a fanfic of the accursed sylargh first
and it depicted sylargh as this super cunning/charismatic evil mastermind-devil child that he didn’t defeat only because he was outfoxed, please do not make fun of captain amakna he did not loose to a child that can’t tie his shoes or speak properly you fucking weenies, he lost unfairly because he was TRICKED
sylargh’s fanfic was only a retelling of the events from his own point of view and a lot more accurately
