Imagine working with Chris as an assistant to the costume designer. He’s filming a nude scene today, and while the actors are never really nude on-set, he does need to appear naked to the camera - which means all he’ll be wearing today is a sock. Not wanting to be presumptuous, you bring him a variety of socks, big and small. He slips one over his package, but when he turns around so you can make sure it’s secure, it falls to the floor - leaving him completely exposed. Your jaw falls open as your face burns red; you drop all the socks to the floor and run away. You thought it couldn’t get any worse, but that’s when you trip over some power cords and fall flat on your face. Gentleman that he is, he grabs his robe and rushes over to help you up. He even sent you flowers the next morning, apologizing for all the many things that went wrong.

You’re a singer/song-writer getting ready to perform at the Oscars this year - they asked you to write a song to commemorate the greatest love stories of the year, but little did Chris know, you wrote it about him. You sneak into the lyrics tiny details about your relationship, things only you and Chris would recognize. When you look out into the crowd, you see him tearing up; he’s just so proud of you, and so grateful to be in love with such a poetic soul.

Imagine showing Chris around your hometown. He just met your parents last night, and it didn’t go as well as you’d hoped - they’re having a hard time accepting the fact that he’s a bit older than you. Today you decide to get out of the house and see some of the sights. You take him around your little coastal town, stopping for coffee at your favorite cafe. You know your parents will come around eventually; in the meantime, you can spend the day listening to the waves crashing against the shore, drinking lattes with the man who loves you.
