This Day in Buster…February 27, 1929

The Record Journal reports that Buster Keaton was made a Captain whilst on the set of “College.” The National Guard bestowed the honor in response to which Buster said he was tempted to don an officer’s uniform & take a salute from a certain “hard-boiled” sergeant he used to know overseas.
