booted up fc new dawn again so now everyone can meet Captain Kenan Derevyanko, 6'6 selectively-mute guard dog captain of security for Thomas Rush (whom he may also have a bit of a Thing™ with)

did he slap his way through the coal mine with a shovel and a shotgun, in a sort of red-mist state? perhaps. did he physically carry Rush the last bit of the way to Prosperity? witnesses confirm he did.

and ofc as soon as Rush was back, Kenan switched the new coat for his original captain's coat. gotta be in uniform for the boss, right? except the helmet. that stays. the train crash left him with some festive new scars that he's not quite used to yet.

update on Captain Kenan: he's been taking back outposts left and right, wiping out groups of highwaymen without letting them raise the alarms. people have also seen him run out of ammo and beat a bear to death with a shovel. Rush tells them (while watching Kenan get patched-up) it's not the first time he's done that. horrifying!

and right now he's in a cave (i like collecting stashes but this one is doing my head in, so i gave up temporarily. he's stuck in the cave for now lol)

the adventures of Captain Kenan continue

freeing more outposts? easy-peasy! helping Sharky fend off waves of Highwaymen? no problem! getting dragged into a fighting ring? not part of the plan, but any excuse to beat the shit out of some assholes is a good excuse!

getting drugged out of his mind (again) and having to deal with pink fire and hallucinagenic mist (again)?

.... god fucking dammit. at least the fight with the giant bear representing his soul was something new.

on the plus side, he's gained the respect and aid of New Eden, and has made friends(?) with the Judge. well, the Judge follows him around. and seems willing to learn a little bit of sign language; useful, considering neither of them speak!

frankly, if Kenan can get through the rest of this whole debacle without another instance of drugging, he'll be a happy camper.
