“I've always loved Smallville during the fall. The changing of seasons... the turning of time. The last warm moments before the cold. But what I loved most of all was the one weekend every year when everyone came together and sacrificed to help those in need.” Superman & Lois ‘The Best of Smallville’
Superman and Lois - 1x08 “Holding The Wrench”
Synopsis: REALITY – Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) encourages Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) to reach out for help after noticing her reaching a breaking point. Meanwhile, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) finds himself in a dangerous situation. Lastly, Kyle (Erik Valdez) encourages Sarah (Inde Navarette) to audition for the musical revue at school.
Wow, Superman and Lois really is a good show. Halfway through the first season and I love the Kent family so much, but I also feel so much for the antagonist...
The stars and showrunner of Superman & Lois sit down for EW's Around the Table video series and preview what's to come in the back half of season 1.
Superman & Lois 1x05 - The Best of Smallville
Jonathan "Superboy" Kent FINALLY standing up for himself was one of the highlights of my watching this episode of "Superman and Lois".
There's only so much pain the "good son" can before he snaps. Although, I am somewhat disappointed with how "neatly" Jon's issues were cleared up so that the focus can revert back to "fragile Jordan".
I think we all know that it's not that easy, especially when you suddenly have no place in the world you find yourself in. I really wish they would dedicate time to exploring Jordan's story in Smallville, his drinking & falling into a bad crowd because he's just over it all.
DC shows have a habit of creative changes when it comes to their shows, but I hope they leave out or at least properly develop the "constants". JONATHAN IS SUPERBOY.
I also loved seeing "Young Clark" and Martha Kent. And that penultimate scene nearly brought a tear to my eye.
Captain Luthor: Whereever Lois Lane goes, Superman follows.
Captain Luthor several hours later: Kal-El is here? Now?
Also Captain Luthor (after seeing Lois and Clark canoodling on a bench): Lois Lane married some random unknown guy on this world and not me?? 🤔🤔🤔
