The DnD session today was pretty great we played for like 7 hours it was awesome the biggest problem that came up was some iffyness with ship to ship combat and how fast ships ought to move we ended up with fights taking place at like thousands of feet and ships only able to move 50 but we figured out something a bit better by the end

Aurelius’s endgame is make a legacy and he plans to do that by making himself the king of pirates which isn’t gonna happen like he’s gonna die but ya know ambition is fun

instead of writing Aurelius’s backstory like I normally do I’m just cramming as much of it onto the roll20 character sheet as I can

I’m thinking about taking a flaw for Aurelius I’m leaning towards Insomnia maybe having a check to get a long rest or Brash maybe give advantage to people who make opportunity attacks against me

I need to write about Aurelius's family I know he has 2 older siblings and an uncle who's still up and kicking his dad might still be alive I haven't decided his mom is definitely alive and going to be pissed about the whole piracy thing

Aurelius is from a naval background which is gonna result in Garrin the dwarf being appointed Captain of Marines and The Witch being appointed Surgeon Riynor the bard is probably gonna end up Quarter Master he'll probably multitask as Purser which means we need to probably hire a chaplain unless that one character who's name I don't know yet is particularly religious otherwise I dunno what she'll do
