How cute was the SmoaknLance scene?
Oh my gosh, SO CUTE. Even better than I could have hoped. Because it was a classic meet-cute, especially given that we know that they have a connection without either of them knowing about said connection.
But more than that, there was a lovely adultness to Quentin and Donna’s conversation. These are two people who have loved and lost, who have faced remarkable challenges and struggles in their lives. And in their short interaction, there’s this spark between them, a sense of “Oh . . . you make me feel good. And it’s been a long time since I felt this and I want more of it.”
I was in favor of SmoaknLance when it was hypothetical. But now that I’ve seen it? GIMME.

Now that we've gotten the SmoaknLance/Captain Smoak (which is it officially? Idek) meet-cute, I can't decide what I'm more excited to see happen: *Quentin's awkward surprised reaction when he learns Donna is Felicity's mother/the guy she hopes is her future son in law=Oliver *Felicity and/or Oliver reacting to Donna and Quentin. (Oooo! Someone needs to write a fic of the trope-y couples end up running into each other on their respective date nights, there's shock/surprise/incredulity, and it morphs most uncomfortable double date ever, most likely at Donna's suggesting) *Felicity and Laurel reacting to their parents hooking up. *Thea and Diggle just standing back eating popcorn watching all the omgwtfbbq go down with amused expressions
