The files of the Nintendo Switch version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker contain an unused model called "Kidnapper" internally.

Due to being a bird-like creature and the name, this is likely an old or development placeholder version of Wingo, the game's main villain, who is a bird that kidnaps both Captain Toad and Toadette at different points in the story.

But hey today is Super Mario Bros. Wonder + Meet-Up in Bellabel Park launchs! and guess whos playable in it? thats right! the Captain is in 2D now and can... Jump???

Yeah theres a Bird in the game that lets him jump, honestly I think having him completely grounded could've still worked but eh

In a previous post, it was explained that the haunted mansion in Luigi's Mansion is not a real building, but rather an illusion created by the Boos.

The many dark, maze-like Ghost Houses inhabited by Boos in other titles may also have been created by the Boos to reside in.
