It's tax season for the L2s! Eon the Spy helps out their adoptive fathers by recruiting their poor brother Ferenc the Accountant to do their taxes. Of course, being top secret experimental clones can really make filling a tax form a lot harder than normal! It also doesn’t help that Doctor Deux (Dédé) and Captain Trois (Toto) are terrible at keeping their administration organised. Poor Ferenc! Those figurines had better make this worth it!
Fun lore under the cut:
These silly goobers are original characters of mine and they're not just related to each other, they’re all clones of Peter Lorre! The French government made them in a top secret experiment to test if it was possible to create viable, intelligent clones from heavily degraded organic matter. The experiment was a success! Too much of a success. The older clones, 2 and 3, escaped, taking all the younger clones with them and raising them by themselves.
Eon and Ferenc are two of the youngest ones! Eon is a spy mastermind and leader of a terrorist group called 'the triple aces' (asexual, agender, and a secret third thing) and has never done anything wrong in their life, and if they did, it was an accident, and if it wasn’t an accident, you probably deserved it.
Ferenc is an accountant and tries to lead a normal life but that’s a little hard with his background. He's heavily addicted to Gacha and Idol games, and spends a lot of his income on cute plastic figurines based on their characters. His favourite franchise is obviously Uma Musume. Credit goes to @faustiandevil for that, I love the idea that a modern clone isn’t just more successful in finance than the original but is also into anime horsegirls instead of real horses!
Doctor Deux and Captain Trois are two loveable and very normal old men with hobbies. They also stole a nuclear submarine from the former United States, stole and installed Peter Lorre's grave in it, raised an army of shark lesbians, and are mad scientists… but that’s another story for another time.
Sometimes you just gotta draw two old clones at the beach. Captain Trois and Doctor Deux both still have their old government tattoos, but they personalised them a little bit. Trois is completely covered in scars because he has a healthy love life with his hybrid shark wife (and that’s also one of the many reasons he’s built up more muscle than his brother)
