and ESPECIALLY making the comparison to Captain Vanguard and Homelander, like NO, I may not have watched The Boys but I know for a fact that Homelander is an egotistical manchild who's nothing without his powers (glad to hear he finally died), and while we don't have much regarding Captain Vanguard as a character, he is said to stand as a symbol of peace and hope (which homelander isn't)
