i am a huge fan of shiro using personalized emoticons (he is a millennial after all)... this man needs a little whimsy in his life every now and then... his natural aegyo is so refreshing

keith is used to shiro using emoticons pre-kerberos, so he thought it was absolutely hilarious the first time shiro dropped a ":|^)" in chat. meanwhile lance was absolutely flummoxed

pidge and keith like to help shiro create new emoticons. sometimes he experiments with ":[^)" and other symbols
