okay so what's happening here is that a guy hits saint thomas and so saint thomas puts a curse on him to get eaten by dogs immediately before the dinner they're both at is even over and the guy who hit him goes outside to get a drink and immediately a lion attacks him and rips him apart and a dog comes trotting into dinner with the guys arm in its mouth. this is like the fundemental "lives of the saints" book from the late 1400s btw. very popular
