Times like these
I spend the entire morning, afternoon, evening with people all over the continent. Yeah the continent. People on the west side, people on the east side. I even spend time with people in Canada! Yeesh, people from all over the place.
But then at night, everyone's sleeping. Everyone's gone, and now it's finally quiet. I'm listening to Pandora, and I duno why I just suddenly thought to myself...it's really quiet. It's really...empty.
Why is that?
Maybe I'm getting too used to having someone around all the time. Yeah, I guess I'm not doing much in real life, but I'm still meeting with people...I don't just sit at home playing with people I don't know. I'm playing with people whom I've met, and made friends with.
I started off this summer thinking that I'd be playing LoL with my IRL friends all day long. I somehow ended up playing with Angela and some Tumblr people, and then I just started playing with them more and more.
And after this entire summer, I've met so many more people I've met than during any other summer. I've met new people from Tumblr, new people from UCI...and it's so crazy how a simple game brought us together and then now we're friends talking about whatever. It's as if we're close friends irl...and just come home to talk more.
I guess I wonder what's going to happen to the group too once school starts. UCI people will be hanging out with UCI....but what about the AGB part? We all different schedules, especially once school starts again.
This has been a wonderful summer playing with you all: Angela, Nathaniel, Binkles, Mouthful, Testaclese, Poops, Dalton, kKei, Okarlplasst, Sally, Beachballhead, Moldy, John, Wuwuu, Snazzy, Kolstin, Jacky Chan, marlon, and whoever else I've missed (sorry! )
To be able to wake up and have people to play LoL with, even though we hardly know each other, I'm just glad to meet you all. I really do hope we can play more even when school starts :( I'm going to miss our crazy chats, random Tumblr pics and gifs, and can't forget about michankle's gay porn every now and then. :]
