Could it possibly be a depression problem? You could just be numb to all that now since you're stressed but it go away once you have time to sort through stuff.

See I wondered about that, but the time when I thought (or was, idk) madly in love with someone was when I was most depressed I never know anymoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Thanks man things I guess if it happens it will happen though I don’t want to hold out for anything. And yea I def will if I need it but right now it’s just weird annoying stuff that hasn’t much changed so I don’t think it’s anything bad. Wheel of Time: I always felt like I’d be a pretty good Perrin. I don’t like change or responsibility and oh lordy don’t be looking for me to make the first move.

Red Vs Blue: Probably Tucker because I’m a shitbag but I’m becoming less of one also dirty jokes

All my other fandoms are so minor but I’ll chuck another one or two out there

Old Kingdom series: I’ve always been Lirael. She’s an introvert, extremely bookish, but a gosh darn amazing hero person who I’d like to be like

Yea I’m very happy with my name, don’t really think I’d ask for another one.

15.Five most influential books over your lifetime.

Fuck now this is a hard question because there’s so many different angles. Like I have books that have just been really meaningful to me, others that have been fun and just seen me through bad times, and still more that legitimately changed my outlook on life.

The Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix has to be on here. It’s been something I’ve loved at so many stages of my life and still love to this day. Sabriel and Lireal are my idols. I’ve probably read it or listened to it a dozen times. His other stuff is great as well and saw me through bad times, but this series in particular is probably why I love fantasy to this day. It’s hard to distinguish ‘favourite’ from ‘influential’

The Belgariad/Mallorean by David Eddings were so very important to me in highschool of all times. They’re tropey and cheesy and generic as it can get, but one line from the final book really changed me in a way I couldn’t have expected. “Isn’t better to forgive than to hate.” See, such a cheesy line. But I saw so cynical and hateful at the time that it was like a blow to the head where I realized being toxic like that, the only thing it did was make ME feel terrible and make me become unapproachable.

The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula Le Guin. This is like a go-to assumption when considering feminist sci-fi, but that doesn’t make it any less important. It wasn’t so much life-changing as inspiring, showing me a different world with different assumptions all the while telling a meaningful story without preaching a sermon to me.

I’m having a hard time deciding my self two because they’re probably ones from my childhood that were great them, but may not hold up now (like Edding’s stuff). The Noble Warrior trilogy was definitely one, I’d say, as it was an ending that really left me thinking. Ugh. I just want to say Epic Fantasy in general for the final book. This has a strong leaning to Branderson and Wheel of Time because epic fantasy has completely changed how I think about other people. Seeing through so many points of views, it makes me (I hope) be so much more mindful of other people and why they act the way they do, and how I’m affecting that.

16. If you’d grown up in a different environment, do you think you’d have turned out the same?

Nope nope nope nope nope. Everything about who I am in my current state is a direct result of my interactions with others around me. There is something underlying that affects what clicks with me, but the exposure to those things that click would not be the same. 

The most obvious example, I think, would be my introduction to Runescape. Almost a decade ago I first played the game casually with school friends, but its real importance doesn’t come for another four or five years. I meet online friends, and become really close with them so when I was finally hit my depression and had pushed away every real life friend I had, I still found a support net in that game. Even further, it’s why I like Symphonic Rock, it’s why I like Hardstyle, it’s why I like Indie it’s why I like anime, it’s even when I quit the game, I was never alone when it matter. Of course, real life circumstances have changed for the better, but that doesn’t change how that single inciting incident of playing that online game might even be why I’m still alive.

And where would I be without my books that my mom picked up for me?

Everything about who I am has come in the form of another’s action.

17. Would you say your tumblr is a fair representation of the “real you”?

Perhaps. It does have a more uncensored representation than you would see elsewhere, but it’s not everything. I’m different everywhere I am, even who I’m around. So for one facet of me at least, yea.

awww, thanks darling. yeah, but I'm not very good at coming up with things on the spot in formal situations, in either English or Japanese so it's like it could be either good or bad. I'm pretty okay right now though since I know it's like there's anything I can do now but get some rest and do my best. Plus my other prof already agreed to talk about an independent study this week so I have that regardless. So I'm just gonna get some sleep (if my brain cooperates lol) and make sure I wake up early enough to have some tea or coffee before I head off. :)
