They just made an announcement post but the dark blue is so that there’s a higher contrast and it’s more accessible to the visually impaired

that’s bullshit, I’m hearing a lot of people say that it’s actually making things harder to see and hurting their eyes. and it’s ugly. like so sooooo ugly.

thanks for the faux-progressive wokeness, @staff you could have like offered a dark blue option for the subset of the visually impaired who benefit from higher contrast, but no, all of us have to suffer from that ugly dark blue.
