its kind’ve all over the place yeah (tbh I forget about Clay a lot actually) but I kind’ve sadly accepted that a consistent canon comes second to pumping out more games 

I think it could’ve been worse though, I feel like it was a lot more coherent than DD and did a better job at setting up for its finale 

What did Takumi plan? I don’t follow a lot of AA behind the scenes

I put Apollo at the top because of combination half of Trucy’s backstory through the whole Gramarye plotline, then the fact that he was then raised by a rebel leader/former royal since his dad, a traveling musician, happened to hit it off with the queen’s husband who invited him over for dinner, not knowing the queen’s sister was gonna fake-assassinate her and get him caught in the crossfire 

THEN later being shipped back overseas when adoptive dad has to lay low

thats a pretty wild ride even if they totally made it up for AA6
