Tomorrow would, as tomorrows were wont to do, bring its own struggles, and she could face them in the morning light. Tonight, this soft bunk could be enough. She felt something akin to contentment-- that is to say, she was not presently distressed. This night would pass more gently than those before because for the first time in days, she wasn’t alone.
