I’m gonna be heretic and say that I really liked the wig -which I’ve noticed nobody does but what I can I say I have weird tastes lol. I read this fic or a metà once that had this amazing line ‘after the gambit, it was years before laurel allowed blonde back in her hair’ - this sentence just blows my mind for some reason. It implies the choice to be super brunette in s1 was deliberate. As a way to distance herself from the person she was before. And then her journey to blonde is like a journey to self acceptance - a new laurel that like teen laurel wants to be blonde but now owns it fully, beautifully. It IS her now, and not just blonde because of what she might look like that way. I’m reading too much into this I know but I love doing it

I mean I feel her wig had good moments esp with her signature hair flip™, but I definitely think she looks better without it as black canary. but yeah I mean that is interesting! I love the idea of laurel going back to who she was as a teenager after wanting to distance herself from the person she was before.

Wow,what happened?

An Olicity stan on Twitter made a drunken video threatening Katie and acting like she was getting in between Stephen and Emily’s romantic relationship (as if that exists) and it’s circulating all over Twitter. Olicity stans are saying she made a mistake and the LL fandom are disgusting for even sharing it in the first place, and pretending she’s a child when she’s 19 years old and was drunk off her face, and spends all her time on her Twitter account spreading hate and lies about Katie Cassidy. Tonight, I’m drunk, and making a joke about how I’m intoxicated, in an Arrow fandom and not spreading hate about an actress (like that chick did and like the olicity stans perceive it as a “mistake” when it’s not).
