it’s because 65% of his goals are one timers from the circle on the Power Play. Don’t know why teams aren’t watching for it, so predictable. Paul Martin was all over that when we played the Caps.
He only has 9 power play goals out of his 22. So not even half. Then he only has 9 assists. So regardless, that +/- is disgusting and it's been like that his entire career.
It's just really annoying how he can just try and get away with playing a strictly offensive game. You can score as many goals as you want, but maybe the fact that you can't defend for shit is a reason you haven't been a cup contender.
