I know you've reblogged the Class teaser, but have you seen the actual trailer that's up now? What do you think of it? I'm very surprised, it looks marvelous! And I love the Doctor's inclusion in it
I’m really excited for this show! It looks so good! I can’t wait!

I feel like I just spent 2007 working at K Mart thank you
You are welcome, I certainly recommend getting this experience through reading and not by actually working there because honestly fuck Kmart
I don't know whether or not I want Clara's last words to include 'Run You Clever Boy', because on the one hand it'll destroy us, and maybe it's been two seasons since that arc, yeah; but on the other hand, how could you have it any other way?
Personally, I want it to instead be the Doctor’s last words to her. “Run, you clever girl, and remember me.” It’d be a nice final inversion of their roles as Doctor and companion.
WASN'T THE MOST RECENT EPISODE BASICALLY PROOF THAT EVEN THOUGH HE SAVED GALLIFREY HE'S STILL COMPLETELY FUCKED UP FROM HAVING DESTROYED IT ORIGINALLY??? LIKE HE WAS LITERALLY CHOKING ON HIS WORDS WHEN HE GOT TO "I HAVE FOUGHT IN A BIGGER WAR--" LIKE WHERE IS THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ERASED?? Yiiiikeeesssssss like and it was IMMEDIATELY apparent in the NEXT EPISODE after he saves Gallifrey, in Time of the Doctor, where instead of destroying Trenzalore for the greater good, he defends it forever
There’s no character development that’s been removed. The Doctor still fought for years and years in the Time War. He still spent years and years scarred and damaged and thinking his whole world was gone forever. He still was driven by that to find a better way in the subsequent lives. The Zygon subplot in The Day of the Doctor, and later the speech in The Zygon Inversion, are all about how those horrors and a crimes drove him to be better. And because he learned to be better, he even got the chance to rectify his mistake. It’s because of the development he got after the Time War that he was able to save Gallifrey, not in spite of it. The trauma is still there, and the lessons are still learned.
If Moffat takes Capaldi with him when he finally leaves, I'll really actually cry
I bet they’d go out on a phenomenal high note, though.
