Ok I have the MOST self indulgent regency era fic planned in my head where it’s essentially pride and prejudice and Mr Darcy is… you guessed it Bucky. They don’t get off on the best foot and they always bicker with one another. I see him not being as rude as Mr Darcy was, more genuinely liking her from the start but unable to let her see the ‘real’ him so he ends up seeming like he looks down upon her when that isn’t that case!
