#ask #my art #oc #caracles #it's never a guarantee i will drag out one of my guys to answer asks in-character but there's ALWAYS a possibility #when writing caracles i try to evoke being in a bit of a scratty pub and some insane pub guy pulls you into conversation #and he might be on drugs or he might be just an insane pub guy #but he's like INTENSELY TALKING TO YOU and making an inside joke #that surely makes no sense to anybody in the world let alone you who has never met him before #and his voice is wheezy and gravelly and barely legible after years of chain smoking and drinking hard liquor throughout the day #and he's LAUGHING LIKE CRAZY until he says something completely nonsensical yet somehow grounding to him #and he goes back to his pint and you're like HAHAHAH yeah hahahaha yessss anyway i need to go and spend £5 on one (1) appletiser hahaha #and you're desperately looking for your friends so you're not alone with insane pub guy #ANYONE GET ME!!! anyone ever been in a pub where the locals look at you like an enemy spy from the next village over #OR treat you like fresh meat for their budding (dead) stand up career #this is the perks of life when you're looking back on it but not in the moment where you're like ohhhhh god i just want to buy drink #anyway thanks for listening to me. see in this situation i was the insane pub guy and you were my captive audience #ALSO if you're wondering where her hands are coming from in either panel then yeah !!! i don't know either
