Caramel Corn Puffs are a delightful sweet snack perfect for movie nights or parties. The crunchy corn puffs are coated in a rich caramel sauce, creating a delicious combination of sweet and salty flavors.
Ingredients: 12 cups corn puffs cereal. 1 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup butter. 1/4 cup corn syrup. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 250F 120C. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Pour caramel mixture over corn puffs in a large bowl, tossing to coat evenly. Spread coated corn puffs onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely, then break into clusters.
