What a morning! Been up since 6:30am and been at the new place from 7:30am! Demolished unuseable furniture, have a charity come and collect other bits (although they didn't take everything we offered, madness really)! Have my brother come and do the electrical work as that's his line of work, 3 trips to the tip and now a hole in the floor due to damp! Yep it's been a busy one! Already hit my activity goal on my apple watch and its not even 2pm ha! Finally getting the place gutted and ready to make my own!
It is sad taking it to bits, having known this space to be my grandads home, the time he’s spent there and here I am removing it all! We’ve kept his personal and important belongings! It's a bitter sweet situation, sad it's no longer his home and he’ll never set foot in it again, but also a happy moment to know I can repurpose this space to become by own! Sure it's a static caravan but it's no less a home with 4 sides, lounge, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. I'm lucky to be given this space and I hope the changes I make don't upset my grandad but make him feel happy to know his place has become my place! I'm rambling anyway but just a brain fart while sharing my hectic day! Pictures below 😋
