I don't want to upset you further but farming deer is really common? You even have it in places like Australia and New Zealand where deers aren't native. NZ is where it started. They had a lot of large animals brought in for sport that then either had to be killed off or converted into livestock for environmental reasons. I don't think they have a domesticated breed like cows, but they wouldn't be 100% wild animals + would have been domesticated a for few generations at least
